KUSCO Programs Overview
- WEST
The WEST Program is a unique program that was created by both governments to enhance mutual understanding and friendship between the Republic of Korea and the United States.
- S & T Meetings
KUSCO supports holding of various S&T meeting such as conferences, forums, symposiums, seminasr and workshops.
- KUSCO Scholarship
KUSCO operates this program in cooperation with the KSEA. Awardees will receive a check of $1,500 each from KUSCO and be given an opportunity to attend the Award Ceremony.
- National Math & Science Competition (NMSC)
KUSCO and KSEA has co-organized and hosted the NMSC since 2008. Every year, KUSCO sponsors a grant for national winner award. Students from 4th grade through 11th grade of students can participate in this competition on two subject matters; math and science.
- EAPSI-Korea (The East Asia and Pacific Summer Institute)
The EAPSI provides U.S. graduate students in science and engineering: 1) first-hand foreign research experience; 2) an introduction to the science, policy, and scientific infrastructure of the respective country; and 3) an orientation to the society, culture and language of the host country.
- R&D Information
KUSCO intends to form teams consisting of experts in policy-making areas determined by issues, trends, and developments in the fields of science and engineering.
