WEST VA Regular Meeting (12/19)

On December 19, KUSCO hosted a meeting of all westies currently studying in the Northern Virginia area. It was well-attended; as the main topic of discussion was the internship placement process which Placement Manager Heather Grime took pains to explain. WEST Program Director Jim Kelman and Program Manager Seong Ho Kang spent time reviewing strategies for successful job interviewing techniques. We also conducted an evaluation of the English language programs in the Northern Virginia area, with an eye to fine-tuning them so as to more completely fulfill our intern’s needs and expectations.

As a regular monthly meeting, KUSCO has found great value in these meetings, as have our westies. There are many comments and opinion from program participants on various topics and KUSCO plans to reflect them to upgrade the program for the current and future participants.
